DIY Air Variable Capacitor Part 1

 

Published on Sep 7, 2013 – Today at Think Schematics we are cutting the rotor and stator plates for a Air Variable Capacitor using a CNC router. The plates we designed using CamBam and then transferred to the CNC that is running EMC2 (now known as Linux CNC).

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Jig for CNC Router

This is my first project with my new CNC Router (v3.0). This is a jig to hold PCBs as they are being etched. The PCBs will be held down by double face fiberglass carpet tape.
